Last weekend we decided to venture to the city of Santa Ana and look for houses there. We left Friday AM and while it took us most of the day to get there as we took our time and did some sightseeing on the way.
Before I left Canada I went to find out how much new glasses would cost me. Not that I can’t see with my old glasses but they were getting very scratched up and I have come to realization that bifocals might not be a bad idea. The cost was going to run me around $300 plus the cost of an eye exam since the government only covered that cost once every two years.
The day started as any other. Up at around 7:30 had a shower and then breakfast and get ready to go into town to use the internet. The trip takes about 20 minutes on dirt roads to get the small town where there is an internet cafe.
I have managed to get a good internet connection at a hotel in Santa Ana and have updated my photo album with photos from the trip so far.
Just a quick note let the readers of this blog know that the posting frequency will be sporadic at best due to the internet connection here. They was no internet for 3 days last week and while we are back up and running the speed is slow to say the least.
